The Davis Lake Pool will open Saturday May 21, 2011 are you prepared?

Please don’t wait until the last minute…you will  need your ID cards for pool access. If you already have an ID card, you DO NOT need to get a new card unless you have  lost it….the cost for a replacement is $5 per card. Only those without ID’s will need to make arrangements to have new ones issued.

Did you know that your Membership ID card is also your Pool Pass? The DL Board would like to encourage everyone to carry their card with them when they attend social events, and use the common grounds and amenities (pool, tennis courts, fitness room, clubhouse, walking trails and lake). ID cards are required by  all residents 6 and up for entrance to the pool. This will ensure our community is being used by those who are entitled and not those from outside the Davis Lake Community.Please know that our local law enforcement may also ask to see your card. This will help with safety issues within our community.

If you are new to the neighborhood, have never had a card made or have lost your card (There is a $5 charge to replace lost ID cards) you can stop by the clubhouse during regular office hours and have a photo taken, or you can email a digital photo (jpeg) of each member of your family ages 6 & up; clear headshot please, to Club@davislake.org. Simply name each file with the name of the person in the photo, in the body of the email, put your address and the ages of the children. The passes will be made and become available to be picked up in a few days. Before receiving your ID card, an adult property owner will need to read and sign the Facility Usage Contract.

PLEASE NOTE: All families will be asked to complete an Up to Date Facility Usage Contract for 2011.  These are available online and at the clubhouse office and will be at the pool desk after May 21. If you are renting a home in Davis Lake you will need to have the property owner complete and sign an Amenity Usage Policy for Tenants, this would assign their rights for use of the amenities to the renters. A copy if this form is online in the Property Owners section of our website and available from the clubhouse. An original signed and notarized affidavit must be received by Davis Lake via U.S. Mail along with a copy of the lease agreement with all tenant’s names and lease expiration date. A new form must be completed each year that the tenant resides at their home.
Until a valid affidavit is received, the property owner’s good standing is verified, and ID cards are issued, you will not be allowed access to Davis Lake amenities. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
