Lily Pads/Weeds in Davis Lake

Statement from Douglas Pitkin (our Landscaping Contractor) September 30, 2006

We have been conducting spraying operations on the Davis Lake pond during the last several weeks. We have applied the aquatic chemical as per the recommended rates in order to insure a proper and safe eventual eradication. Some of the weeds and vines are extremely hard to control and take many applications to eliminate. Since there is no documented history on what has been successful in the past, we are using the process that is recommended from the vendor providing the chemicals.

We must all keep in mind that this situation did not occur overnight and while we are working diligently, it will take time to completely resolve.
