Davis Lake Dolphins Swim Team

Participation on the community swim team instills teamwork, competition, camaraderie and instills in the children the community spirit that resonates throughout Davis Lake. Residents that are not participating in the swim season are welcomed and encouraged to come out and support your neighbor Dolphins!

All volunteers for the Junior meet need to be there at 8am and for the Senior at 12:30 pm.
Julie Hollis will be your point of contact for the Junior Meet and Shelly Ramminger for the Senior Meet as I will be in Shelby with my girls for another swim meet - thanks in advance for their help!!!
Please advise me asap if you have any questions about this meet - there are volunteers from 4 teams, but as you see, it is very precise what roles each time is assigned!

For the Junior Meet, Bullpen parents please make note of a few nuances:

Meet does not go in regular order - please pay close attention to the events on the heat sheet.

The Triad Meet Directors have asked for the following help:
For relays, one bullpen parent needs to take the #1 and #3 children to the Clerk of Course at the end of the the pool with the blocks (tall blocks they walk up to dive from) and the other bullpen parent needs to take the #2 and #4 children to the other side of the pool. The coaches will be around to help as well but it will help reduce chaos of walking the #2 and #4 kids from Clerk of Course to the other side of the pool.

  For home meets, you need to be at the pool by 4:45 and away meets, 5:15. Arrival times for Championship meets will be given at a later date.
