Lawn of the Month
A committee selects an outstanding lawn from each Davis Lake Community and they are recognized with a yard sign and in the Communique Newsletter. Selections depend on many things including a fresh cut lawn, pruned plants, colorful arrays of flowers, and grass health among other things.
Safety Issues:
The DLCA Board, Hawthorne Management Group, The Clubhouse Director and the DLCA Webmaster wish to remind residents – when you see activities or incidents in the neighborhood that require law enforcement or monitoring – PLEASE call 911! This is not a role that your neighborhood volunteers or employees can fill.
Our streets are city streets – therefore our covenants cannot control parking or street access issues. If you cannot resolve an issue with your neighbors about parking, the CMPD may be needed to enforce city laws and resolve differences. If however, you have a concern about neighborhood covenant issues – Hawthorne Management may be able help. Contact info and email addresses are located here: https://www.davislake.org/payment-portal/

Architectural Review Committee Meetings
are held monthly to review all written homeowner requests. Davis Lake homeowners who are planning ANY exterior changes to either their house or lot, must submit an “ARC Application for Change or Addition” (MS Word or PDF) and receive ARC approval prior to beginning any work. This process can take up to 45 days. This requirement is in our neighborhood covenants.
